You can download and evaluate Pointools 4 Rhino 4 for free. All the features in the licensed version are available in the evaluation version, however only demo Pointools POD files can be imported. You can download these files below.
Pointools 4 Rhino is intended for Rhino 4 SR 3 released (22-Feb-08) and subsequent releases. It may not work in earlier versions of Rhino.

Note that these files will not open in Pointools View or View Pro and are intended specifically for use in Pointools 4 Rhino Evaluation version. The licensed version can open standard pod files produced in View or View Pro.
